Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thanks for the uplaod, burris! I had a great time during the 2nd set, but missed the first set entirely, so I'm really looking forward to hearing what I had to miss. Also, this was such a nice venue and with the audience as amazingly attentive as it was, I remember thinking that you could practically hear a pin drop during the quiet parts. Hopefully that made for a nice recording.

I believe we met at the Friday night show at the Fillmore -- I was the guy with the mini screwdriver set & the JB3 with no power... I'm hoping your Fillmore show(s) turned out as well. :-)

thanks a ton for sharing! any chance you can seed the 24 bit file set also?
blueledboy 2007-09-30 10:49:12
Thanks burris!

As my first MSMW or MMW experience, I was totally blown away this night at Villa Montalvo.

Thanks dawg!

i was listening to this on some headphones today and i swear you can hear the crickets early in the show...
duggy 2007-10-01 20:52:39
Man, this sounds fantastic! Thanks again...

Here's a slightly more neurotic setlist/tracking for those interested, as well as a couple of corrections:
Set I
01 Bass Solo > Cachaça [@2:04] >
02 In Case the World Changes Its Mind > Drum Outro [@12:32] >
03 Drum Intro > Miles Behind [@1:04]
04 Little Walter Rides Again >
05 Deadzy >
06 What Now
07 'outro'

Set II
01 New New Orleans
02 Tequila & Chocolate >
03 Down The Tubes, Bass Solo [@9:23]
04 Bass Solo cont'd > Tootie Ma is a Big Fine Thing ** [@2:30]
05 Julia
06 Hottentot
07 'interrmezzo'
08 Sunshine of Your Love

duggy 2007-10-01 22:15:06
And actually, a small amendment to one of the tracks above:
d2t05 = Guitar Intro > Julia [@2:23]

...I don't think Sco usually milks the opening so much, so it seems worth noting...I noticed he did the same sorta thing at the start of Deadzy on the 9/13/2007 show that's circulating...
brot 2007-10-02 15:23:50
sco had some great intros for ddzy & julia for the LA show (last leg of the west coast tour). I really enjoyed the whole show & got to hear some developed improv on these tunes - everybody was on point. i hope the show makes its way here eventually, thanks for posting this
frankrt 2007-10-02 18:48:49
Thanks for all the effort that went into distributing this show! I truly appreciate it.

Also, with regard to the Sco bashers out there, I just don't understand what you're saying -- I feel that as a BAND MSMW has been sounding spot on as of late, i.e., really coming together with a cohesive group sound, playing off of one another like few musicians can. Likewise, the contentions that Sco is the only 'leader' seems patently false -- there is as much group communication, finger pointing, head nods, and subtle glances taking place than any amount of the same coming from Sco. With that said, again, thank you for your efforts in providing us with some musical bliss.

Peace,

Ryan

I don't think it's really bashing as much as people wanting the trio more.
At least that's how I am.
I am not and never have been a big fan of guitar.
I personally miss the trio shows because they feel less tied down and are more apt to play lmore improv that MSMW,
which seems to follow the pattern.

frankrt 2007-10-03 16:09:05
Well, that is definitely a different issue than I was speaking of, t. I can see what you mean/hear where you're coming from. I was mainly referring to posts that said things to the effect of "sco sucks . . . he's the same volume the whole show . . . he directs everything that's going on" - granted, those weren't posted @ this torrent, so perhaps my choice forum/venue in which to post was off there. Even I, in all of my ardent Sco defending, will agree that there is nothing like pure, unadulterated MMW!

Peace,

Ryan
