Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thank you; Chicago, here we come!!!

Looks like the big extended jams are far and few between.... Hopefully they will find a groove, so far only the 2nd sets seem to be serving up the bigger open jams. Great tunes, good sound, still a super fun show!! Help> Slip> Frank!! Glad to see it made it's way out, still looking for that 1st Shakedown..

ill be honest here..

first off nakguy, this is a phenominal recording. very wide frequency, nice seperation and clear vocals...well done( as always with yer stuff!!)

as for the long jams, i for one would get simply Lost in the PLQ extendo jams. Sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. and when they didn't PLQ shows could be full train wrecks in my humble opinion.
I think Phil has taken note of that fact. These shows are very "stripped down" so to speak. they are playing the HEART of the tunes and doing it very well. For me the LACK of the 22 minute segues make this music more digestable than the PLQ. the band seems to make sure thay stay with in the theme of the tune.

Something the GD always seemed to do was hang on to a single thread of a song they were jamming out , so you always knew the corner could turn and they'd be right back in it. I feel This new P&F honors that musical tradition

just my 2 cents, jamie

Thanks for the up! I'd have to agree with rusty,The sax in previous P&F was'nt gettin it for me.With Jackie I like the arrangements more, given some time I think the long jams can happen, gotta give it time.By the end of this tour jackie should be broke in!

Thanks for posting this! I was at the show and for me the cumberland was the highlight. Cambell is a monster on that telecaster! A good show, but I miss the Quintet (or a least Warren).

Here's a writer who could care less that Warren and his McCullough 26" chainsaw isn't around.

Diggin all 3 nites of the opening weekend's shows. This one (Santa Fe) has got a real nice warm sound to it and distinct separation . Terrific recording all around; one of the best I've heard.

As for the jamz, how about the 'space' out of Mountains into v2 of the Dark Star the previous nite? That was out there.

It should only get better by the time they roll into town (NYC)

Thanks NakGuy!

I rarely see NM shows make their way here. Thanks for the up.
