Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

I dove head first into the Grateful Ocean and I AIN'T COMIN' OUT! It's nice in here, warm, soft, the waves, the ripples, the flotation devices, the people, the Purple Saturns... WOW, TEN OF THEM! A great night. Now, ya might think 10 Purple Saturns (or were they spaceships?) might be a lot, but once you've taken off towards the first one (and a half), the rest just keep the ride goin'! Thanks to whoever (whomever?) produced those, fan-freakin'-tastic! Good work people... and the band was ON and the people were ON, I mean, virtually the entire audience were ONE, and all floating in that same cyberkinetic ocean... You could see the wave, the Big One, coming at you from the front of the hall to the back, awesome. Ever seen a photo flash look like symmetrical spikes of white light (straight lines moving from a central point to a point about 8-10 ft. in diameter) exploding and then slowly fading away...? You have? You WERE THERE!?! Who-ray, my brothers and sisters! Let's enjoy the show, and another one, and another one... no more? Well... WE'VE STILL GOT THESE TORRENTS!!! Off to sea once more... ah, the memories.
Thank you, and "if you go down to deep elem, put your money in your socks... when it's done and over, a man is just a man..."
The first great thing I remember about the Dead, the first vision, as it were, was Jerry bathed in a soft blue spotlight (and only Jerry could be seen, the rest of the stage was in darkness...) singing Sugaree. Wow, the Blue Prophet. Not to be blasphemous, I know he's just a musician, but he IS significant! How 'bout "The Pope Of Dope? That's it... and music, and love... and peace, and space travel... hey, the next universe is one heart away. Dig it, California style. I'm proud to be an American, a Great Westerner, a Californian, and a NORTHERN Calfiornia Native, at that, and... a DEAD HEAD (in more ways than one, I suppose). THE GRATEFUL DEAD, THE GOOD OL' GRATEFUL DEAD! GRATEFUL>>> DEAD! Jerry Garcia... the band, the music, the people... Wow, it's a great time to be alive, I can still fell the felling I had at those first 2 shows (12.27-28.81), so peaceful, so calm, such good vibes, and, let me tell you, better living through chemistry, INDEED! Let's hear it for Albert Hoffman! Thanks a bunch for the show, I only found this place in the last 7 months or so, it's appreciated! |
