Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thank you, Jesus! We appreciate all you have done for us and continue to do for us this day. "I shall not want" is a good concept, I suppose, but these kind GD shows... I WANT! Good stuf. I just checked, according to my highly, err, lowly unofficial records, seems that I've got a hole where the tour from 4-28-80 up to the 6-19, 20, 21-80 shows are. I DO have 5-7-80, thanks to one Mr. Charlie Miller {Keeper of the Eternal Flame, Sovereign of the Magnetic Recordings, Master of the Known "Grateful Dead In-The-Wild" Audio Universe... and those are just A FEW of his titles, he's like the general with the colored bars running the entire length of the left side of his uniform, uh-huh, you got it}, however, actually sometime in '79 until the Alaska '80 shows, I seem to be missing a whole lotta (yep, been doing the Zep downloads...) GD, and I am particulalry interested in this tour (long and detailed list follows). So if anyone has the good stuff, I'd appreciate it!!! I LOVE THIS TOUR!!! My thinking is that they "smoked 'em til the wheels fell off" on this tour, knowing theat they were working up to a grand recording session in the Fall. From what I've heard, THESE shows are, on average, well above what was recroded at Radio City and the Warfield...

Anticipating the killer Miller... (I figured there was somethin' cookin'... The Baked Alaskas sound tasty. I would choose a nice vintage Glen Falls '80 to go with the Baked Alaska, not to be a wine-r, or anything, but for the right main course, you definitely need something to match it with... Please don't make me beg anymore than I already have. Now I'm grovelling, but I'm sitting in a chair, I suppose I could prostrate myself pointing toward Marin County... I get on my knees for no living man, however... O-K. Just trying to grease the wheels, but since we're talking aobut Alaska, perhaps a better metaphor would be "oil the pipeline", anyway, back to the Glen Falls...).
Thanks to alls (rhymes with "Glen Falls"), these shows are in the oven and soon we'll be dining on...
"Baked Alaska!"
First we had "The Pizza Tapes", now we have the "Baked Alaska" shows, I'm ALMOST full, please pass the wine {ahem}... |
