Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Well, now I'm interested (again). Was this pitch corrected by Charie at someone's request, or... ? Just wondering, was it slow or fast and by how much?

It *is* a great show, IMO.
vern234 2007-10-13 18:20:29
Set ii looks a little interesting.. just a little.

Thanks!
pmars104 2007-10-13 19:08:11
this is the first "Why don't we do it in the road?"!!

GREAT show!
toomanycds 2007-10-13 20:03:02
I recently d/l this same show as shnid 87467 with a total playing time of 168.27.59
This shnid 87467 has a time of 164 something. Can anyone comment on how noticable the pitch difference is? Given CM's sterling reputation and impeccable transfers, there must be a reason for the new version, then again how wrong could the first version have been?

I wuz there and enjoyed my 3rd show mightily. I was on the bus already, but enjoying the cool early evening discussing what would come out of space with a complete stranger/tour head seemed to sum up the whole concept of what was possible. Travelling for the first time to catch up with friends on summer tour, the night before and this one have me d/l ing to this day. Thanks for seeding this, deja vu all over again indeed.
mattman_video 2007-10-14 02:40:22
Yup, I think its important to reference what the pitch was corrected to, e.g., A=440Hz.

Or was it corrected to your ear, or a piano?

And then you can list how many cents you had to compress or expand to produce the final pitch.

Pardon my manners; now that my download has completed...Thank you Thank you Thank you :-)
bassman1 2007-10-15 23:14:52
guess this will make my fourth copy of this show(1 tape&3 digital d/l) this was the show that packed my bags and put me on the road......
datdork 2007-10-19 15:40:25
from charlie over on jerome's place

"I circulated a pitch corrected version"

so it seems it was done by charlie.
e_dubs 2007-10-20 21:09:22
Absolutely amazing show and recording. Nice work. The Phil bombs will work out your subwoofer. Even the songs I don't like as much pack incredible amounts of power- there are no throwaways. 6/26/84 was my third show, and a dang good one but I still hadn't caught on to sticking around for the next one. Too bad. Thank you!
chullinger 2011-05-22 19:37:38
Thanks!
