|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.

Victor & Beggin' may be in reverse order.
An excellent, if truncated, show. Guest mandolinist Brooks Hubbert was outstanding. The new rhythm section continues to grow and shine.
Great to have visited with you Scott; I'm one of Phil's buddy from the show.
Thanx for posting this show.
|Wholly shit, my first recording of the best festival of the YEAR! Thank you, and If you have any more Mulberry Recordings, I would be really appreciative. I will have to send this one to Dewey. He and his family are so nice to let us all participate in the Harvest Festival. Thank you so much,
|I also had a blast at Mulberry and the recordings I made turned out well. I have already sent copies of all my tapes to Dewey. That was the arrangement: to receive permission to tape you had to promise to give the festival organizers copies of your recordings.
I have circulated a lot of the sets I recorded. Blue Turtle Seduction (daytime set - didn't tape the late night) and Speakeasy (best set of the festival IMHO!) are on archive.org. Big Smith's set had a torrent on shnflac.net (requires a quick, painless, free sign-up). I also taped My-Tea Kind, Vince Herman & Friends, Railroad Earth, and the bands at the Chompdown on Saturday morning: Brian Martin and Dirtfoot. I can't do BitTorrents myself, so I'm hoping that someone else will fire up those sets eventually. I sent copies to a dozen friends, bands, archivists, etc. This torrent is courtesy of TaperNate who was the recipient of one of my data discs. Thanks for sharing Nate!!!
This was my first Codetalkers show and I really liked it! I was inspired to dig around in my archives and found their set from Salmonfest '01 which I transferred from the SBD DAT master a couple years ago. There's a torrent running for that one too right now: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=510497&uploaded=1
Oh, and a friend provided me with this setlist for the 9-21-07 show. Not sure about the Ike Stubblefield/Victor The Snakeman discrepancy, but I think it confirms that Beggin' was played immediately after Lima:
01 Vince Herman intro> Outer Space 10:37
02 Tumblin' Down 6:12
03 Lima 10:26
04 Beggin' 6:48
05 Ike Stubblefield 7:57
06 Body In The Lake* 15:40
I hope everyone enjoys my recording and is inspired to go out and see the Codetalkers live. They put on a great show!
These guys gotta come around Philly...
|Vonjager, write me a message and let me know where i can get a copy of the Railroad Earth from Mulberry. That show was epic, I gotta get a copy of it. Ill even pay for you to mail it to me or something.
|The Codetalkers are no more. Bobby Lee fired Ted & Taylor? ( i think that is his name) & started the Bobby Lee Rogers Band.
|The Codetalkers live. Bobby Lee has replaced the rhythm section, but the band still has the same name. This recording is of the NEW band members. It wasn't clear what motivated the change though it sounded like he just wanted to take the sound in a different, jazzier direction.
I too would like to get ahold of you. I have been searching around e-tree, and I cannot find an e-mail for you. Here is mine:

I understand if you are busy, because at the moment I am too. Shoot me an e-mail, I would like to ask a question. Thanks,
