Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

this might be a stupid question but why is the file set so small. 309mb seems alot smaller than the roughly 700mb that wilco shows are normaly. was this a shortened show.
oh, i am very stoked to hear bird with wilco...thanks for seeding. |

| To be honest, I have no clue why. The show itself is an hour 53 minutes, it shows as being 1.11gb in it's original form. I just checked the final master and it adds up to being the same and did another FLAC transfer as a test and it came out 309 as well. I used the default settings on FLAC when transferring, no clue as to what is up. Given the week I've been having I woudn't be surprised if it was some new screw up... Let me know what you folks find out when you transfer and have a listen to it please. |

| You say in the notes that the left channel was bad, so the recording is in mono. That would explain the unusually high compression ratio. |

| I'll confirm what hg stated--If you pasted the right channel onto the left, that makes this whole recoring two channel mono & when you compress mono files you get unusually small files. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your recording & thanks for sharing. |

| OK, that all makes sense. Belive me, I was extremely disappointed that it had to be mono but there was no other choice. I had lined up the dead center spot in the balcony so it would have been pretty ideal otherwise. Anyways, I'm glad that it's coming down alright for you folks. |
