Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Many thanks! Sitting here on a gloomy rainy day in Frome (Somerset, England), my football=soccer team beaten 6-0, how sweet to find last night's show up already.
Can't wait.
Get well, MK - we love you

6-nil! My condolences.
I'll have to check the scores to see who you're talking about.
But I'm watching Portsmouth-West Ham right now.
But about Ratdog.
I was in the lighting booth last night and looked down below me to see all the wonderfully-situated mike poles and just knew the recording would be wonderful. (It is, isn't it?)
Thanks for this and I'll be downloading a little later when I get out of the woods across New Hampshire from Hampton and down to my broadband outlet in SE Mass.
I hadn't seen Bobby for two years and was amazed how much more tight the band is and carefully orchestrated by Mr. Weir.
He seems in a lot better shape than when I saw him last and although Steve Kimock seemed to come in and out all night, he's a treat that I didn't expect (OK, I don't pay THAT much attention nowadays).
Anyway, thanks to all of you for your vigilant taping efforts and I'm looking forward to hearing if it sounds as good as my memory! |

| Many thanks, nice looking setlist. Are these the CP-1 Cards? Curious to see what direction this tour heads in, whether they'll vary the sets much compared to Summer. Great job getting this up so fast! |

| Yes, those are standard CP-1 cards. I contemplated shotguns, but this has a much better sense of space, and I was able to get high enough to reduce crowd noise. |

Thanks man! Looks like a nice setlist.
I am heading to the Lebanon Opera House on Sunday, any tapers going? The acoustics in this place are pretty sweet, should be great sounding venue for Ratdog. Looking forward to seeing Bobby grace the same stage I did in grade school choir! |

NOS setup is cardioids pointing outward at 90 degrees with 30cm apart. This is my favorite use of Nak 300s. I might have been a little less than 90 degrees by my eyeball. |

anglomuse - Been over the past two years for the Beacon shows. They're getting better and better - Kimock the best possible replacement for Mark, but I've been playing a load of shows from earlier this year, and he has a town & fullness Kimock doesn't - so maybe they could play together alongside Bobby? ....
Whatever - they are on fire, and Bobby carries the torch IMHO. Love Phil, ain't wild about his various combos (oddly, since SK left - saw him at the Warfield with Phil and the Reverend Jorma in '97 and they blew the roof off - but Phil seems to me to have forgotten how to rock 'n roll, where as Ratdog do that rock 'n roll - for me - in the GOGD style. Can't beat it! |
