Thanks for sharing this. P.E. actually is taper friendly. My friend got to tape them when they came through Cleveland this year. Plus, alot of their show are on furthurnet.

thanks spoogs! this is so fresh... i was super impressed with this set, much better than i was expecting. if only ghostface was this good.

I've found that taping any show you go to, regardless of policies put in place by management, and rarely the artists themselves, is a positive thing. Case in point, I emailed Ben Kweller's "people" to ask if I could tape his show. They said no. I did it anyways, and told Ben that I had asked for permission and was told no. He basically said "They don't know what they're talking about", then proceeded to write his address down so I could send him a copy.
Met Zack from Rage, yes the same people who said not to tape at Vegoose, and asked him if I could tape at Rage shows and he replied " I don't give a fuck. Hell, bring two recorders." It's all corporate bullshit, from what I can tell. Ween has a funny attitude towards taping. They say "Sure, tape all of our shows. It'll help us buy more houses." And for any tapers out there, if you're trying to get a SBD patch and aren't sure if the sound man is ok with taping, get someone else to ask if you can patch in. A little FYI, and thanks to anyone who tapes.
