Some of the songs here are radically different from their studio versions. "Liberation Front" for example is an instrumental on "Richest Man In Babylon" but here features prominent vocals. And Track 8 here isn't so much of a segway from "The Oscillator" to "Illumination" as it is a mix/mash-up between them. Also the vocals for "Coming From The Top" are almost completely different.
Thanks _davieto_ for taping and seeding this. In September I caught TC perform pretty much the same show at the Treasure Island Music Festival in SF - I really enjoyed that show and am grateful to have a such a good recording of a similar performance from the same tour.
Would love to see a synched video as well.

Really psyched to see this here - thanks! Been ling their studio albums for years, and this will bee the first live performance I've had a chance to hear. Thanks again for sharing it!!
curious side note:
Why the aggro towards "skronked"? He uses that same signature on every other tracker, why not here? I'd venture a guess he didn't review this recording because it's not an official album, like all the other reviews on that blog site - ever hear of a music critic?
As a former critic myself, it's fairly customary that a lot of us archive our own press reviews on a website... I guess that makes us all lame, then. Oh well, we can't all be as cool as everybody else, I guess. Sheesh... |

| Just to let yall know. The track listed as "The Oscillator/Illumination" is actually a fused track of "The Oscillator" off of Sounds From the Thievery Hi-Fi and "Hong Kong Triad" off of the Mirror Consiracy. The tapes sound great! I was seriously impressed with the levels that you can hear the percussion. This band being so heavily driven by percussion, it is good to hear it loud and clear. Only thing I would say is that the bass levels are a little heavy, but i would rather them be heavy than too light. But all in all, an AMAZING recording of such a tough band to capture! KUDOS! |

I double-checked and this not correct. The track is as originally reported: a mix of "The Oscillator" (from "Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi") and "Illumination" (from "The Mirror Conspiracy").
