Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thought I'd put up an alternate source to the B&K's for the schoeps lovers in the crowd. This is a great recording too. This and the 16th were great conditions (minimal wind at the gorge in July, just hot as hell), and I think it was hard to make a bad tape. I'll seed the 16th once I dig around and find set II which isn't where it should have been.
2001......! And the Divided Sky at sunset doesn't suck either..... |

-DSBD(master)> Audiophile 2496> CDWAVE 48k> Cool Edit Pro resample to 44.1> CDWAVE track> FLAC
i assume that should read "DAUD(master)"? |

| Doh! I forgot to fix that in the text file. I was doing a bunch of xfers back then and copy/paste caused that typo. Definitely DAUD, and a great one at that. |

| I've said it before and I'll say it again, best light show ever! This 2001->Weekapaug is nasty...and if I remember correctly, the Zero isn't half bad either...I vaguely remember a slightly tinkered version...this is worth the download just for the 2001...perhaps the longest version ever... |

| Just d/l the b&k source. It sounds sick. Is this anywhere close to the b&k source? |

| I think this source is better then the B&K's, but I'm a schoeps fan and patched from Kevin's rig many times. Compared to the B&K's I think this source his a better defined bass and just a bit thicker/richer sound. Let your ears be the judge. |

| Out of all the Phish shows I saw over the years, and all the incredible light shows each one contained, this version of 2001 remains the pinnacle. You had to be there... but Mr. Kuroda really outdid himself on this night. It was astounding. |

| I must agree with eee. I like the sound of this source better than the B&Ks. No offense to the B&K source, which is still very good, but I think this one has better instrument separation & more clearly defined bass. The B&K source exhibits some high-volume distortion. Additionally, the bass is a little too loud & muddy for my liking in the B&K recording. It does have more warmth than this recording and Trey is more front & center in the B&K recording, making it sound snappy and perhaps a little more poweful; but I still prefer this source for its clarity and depth. |
