Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help

So here's the fix I can offer....the missing .02% on the first seed was from Bowie. Nothing else was missing. When I jumped off, I was never be able to get back to 100%, unsure why. In theory if you download this track and replace it with the bowie track in the old torrent everything should be fine, but I can't make any guarantees. This does seem as if its been happening a bit more at etree but no one has any answers at the moment. I will try a complete reseed if this doesn't work so you guys are left stranded on this show, here's the link to the stuck torrent if you need it. The reason its not appearing on the main page is that it has no seeders as I'm not able to get back to 100%

| when someone completes could you try to go back to the old torrent and see if you can show up as a seed? Its not working for me but maybe it will work for someone else that way the torrent doesn't die, I'd appreciate it, thanks |

| Something must be wrong with the original torrent file, or when the file was built. I started this torrent, copied my archived fileset, md5's check fine to the torrent directory. Force a re-check, failed at the Bowie 99.8%. |

| Here's what I did to the torrent. Downloaded new md5's from the db, verified, renamed to reflect the db id # and created the torrent file. I seeded the show, and only came to 99.8%, I figured I must have changed something though I had no idea what. So I deleted the torrent file and the seed on etree. I renamed the folder, reverified everything (which passed again) created a new torrent file and made a fresh seed at etree. This time it went to 100%, I let it go, when I checked in the am I realized I had uploaded over 3 gigs and no one had completed. The etree page listed me as a seeder and at 100%. It also listed a leech at !00% (which I though t odd) I checked the individual files and showed no gaps. Next I jumped off hoping a reconnect would fix this, after I jumped back on I only came to 99.8%??? I did nothing to the folder between seeding and jumping off. Not sure what's going on, thoughts??? |

| You're using uTorrent 1.73, right? That version and a couple other 1.7 versions are really buggy I think. People's stats on trackers weren't updating correctly among other things. Maybe they fixed all the bugs with the new 1.75 version. The old 1.6 version is still good too. |

there is now a seeder at the original torrent, not sure if they grabbed this then went back or if they just made it through to 100% eventually, either way just go for the first torrent, I"ll prolly delete this once every one finishes and just leave the original torrent |

| i d/l the bowie, deleted the original one. copied this one in there and the md5's are ok, but on utorrent ive rechecked it a couple times and it still shows as 99.8%. im assuming its complete based on md5's but i guess i cant seed it, right? |
