Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see

Hi all,
Great project you have going here, thank you for your efforts to the community.
I downloaded this a while ago and after I expanded the FLAC files to AIFF files, added them to iTunes and listened back, I noticed that it hurt my head to listen to them. I looked a little deeper at the files in Pro Tools and it confirmed my suspicion, the audio is ˚180 out of phase (thus the head splitting discomfort). After simply flipping the phase, the audio went from so close but so far to a great way to remember a wonderful evening.
The torrent I have that I applied the phase flip to is:

There may have been changes to this over time, but I just wanted people to know about the phase issue.
Excited to grab the Linda Webster source for this night to compliment the excellent recording from the night before.
This encore is one of those moments that will live forever in my own personal phistory!

sorry to be an idiot, but are you saying that you flipped the phase for yourself using -ph1995-07-01.FM.flac.torrent- or that you seeded the source with the flipped phase and it is -ph1995-07-01.FM.flac.torrent-.

You are not an idiot. I flipped the phase for myself. I copy and pasted the torrent file name and text file info into my comment for comparison to what is currently being seeded.
I would love to seed the freshly flipped files for other fans but I unfortunately am a seeding virgin but would be glad to do so with some guidance from a fellow Mac user with more seeding experience than I.
In summary, I:
1. Downloaded this torrent: ph1995-07-01.FM.flac.torrent sometime ago (months or years, I can't remember)
2. Expanded the flac to aiff files
3. Added to my iTunes Library
4. Listened and noticed a phase issue
5. Imported the aiff files into Pro Tools and flipped the phase. Exported the new aiff files with the correct phase back to my iTunes Library.
6. Listened and was happy
7. Saw this torrent being seeded once again
8. Decided to post to let others know about the phase "situation"

| That is what I thought. I noticed the phase/headache issue as well and would love to fix mine or have a fixed version being that it was my very first show. Sorry I'm a seeding virgin as well so I can't help you. Either way thanks for the info. |
