|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.
|Thank you very much! Haven't heard Del and the boys for a little bit ... it'll be good to catch up.
|The sound on this is amazing, Thanks Chris for the patch
|Anytime. Thanks for the setlist help. Saves me from googling lyrics.
|Thanks for your source and your kind upload. Im looking forward to it. I think I was sitting right behind you. My recording came out well, but the volume of the audience was higher than Del, so trying to rectify that on my equiptment would be a pain in the ass and time consuming. So, Ill just go with yours which Im sure is superior. It sure was a great two nights of music,no? Take care and thanks.
|Thanks Chris and Bill-looking forward to giving this a spin.!!
|waterman, you are right, the 2nd half of the set was almost 4 db lower than the first half, I was able to split it and crossfade it together during a 10 second period between tunes. Enjoy this set for me this was the best Del show I've seen, and now I easily see why he has such a following, they really are the best pure Bluegrass band going, which such respect for the tradition and the ability to swing to the newgrass side as well. Great Stuff.
|I wonder if Del has the sound set up that way or perhaps it is the Opera houses equipment. I recorded them in 03 or 04 and it was the same thing. It took forever to master the show onto CD and I believe a fan called out for more loft and Del requested the house to turn it up a bit. I always figured he wanted the volume on the low side because some of his fans are elderly or near elderly. Which would seem to be an argument toward turning it up. Heh. Ive also heard sound boards that seemed to be recorded low, so who knows. Its an honor to see some one of his caliber playing. When we are old and (more) gray we will be able to say we saw the last of the old guard. Id still like to see Pete Seeger before its too late. Cheers.
|This looks great Bill! Thanks for the great Turkey Cooking Tunes in the morning. Best to you and your family and thanks for hooking me up with all this amazing music.
anyone know what happened to mike bubb on bass???
|You too David, enjoy tour family and your bird
|High on the Mountain Top... SMOKIN' right along with our bird! This is an amazing quality recording...
|Thanks for the great sounds- AND the promotion of my photo pages!
BUT most of all thanks for not complaining when I am crawling around all your equipment and blocking your view during the show to get the photos!! --
