Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| for some reason, I remembered low rider being in the middle of Bathtub Gin, rather than in DwD, but hey, those memories are a bit foggy. One way or the other, this was a really fun night and the second set is basically one continuous jam. Thanks alot for the seed...I love this project! |

"anybody have an opinion of this source compared to the schoeps?"
It's interesting to compare this with the Schoeps, because it's tough to tell which one is better. So here's my basic review: The AKG definitely has a fuller bass sound and perhaps "higher" levels, which is what usually sells me on getting a source as an upgrade. However, the Schoeps seems to be clearer and cleaner sounding. I find the AKG to have slight blariness, or a boomy sound, while the schoeps is more cool and crisp, if that helps. Adding your own bass to the Schoeps makes it near perfect. In this case, since I prefer "clean and crisp" over slightly "boomy and blarey," I opt for the Schoeps. This is still a great recording, however, so it's very worth getting if you don't have it. And I'm only calling it slightly boomy and blarely based on comparing it to he Schoeps, it sounds great on its own, as it were. |

| I should also mention I like the Schoeps better because it has slightly cleaner vocals too, in my opinion. |

CW, thanks SO much for this project - it's made my thanksgiving break from college fantastic. i've been able to grab all the shows from this tour that i don't have yet (which is every night except the the hampton run). hopefully when i return from the semester i'll be able to pick up the rest of the nights to complete my first full tour!
i'm also, thanks to you and other regular seeders, getting to close to being able to seed shows that haven't been around in awhile. for a long time all i've been able to do is keep my windows open, but i really want to start giving back around christmastime (i'll have my hands on an external hd, finally). you guys are the people who keep the community alive, and i'd like to do my share.
sappiness aside, my deepest gratitude to you and all other seeders.
peace,
Rob |
