COMMENTS Total time 1:59:40 +. There are two tapes in the vault from Santa
Rosa, December 1970 -- a 41 minute reel marked "12/11/70" (listed here as
SET 1) and an 80 minute tape marked "12/12/70" (listed here as SET 2).
However, it is thought that there was only one Santa Rosa December 70 show,
on the 12th, and that the vault tape marked the 11th is mislabeled.
Jerry announces a break after I Know You Rider. Me And My Uncle could be
the first tune or we could be missing several tunes before it. There was
also a NRPS set.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see

| Was this an outdoor show or an indoor show? I guess that "Fairgrounds" tend to mean outdoor, but it sounds to me like an indoor venue. Anyone know for sure? |

| I don't know the answer to the indoor/outdoor question, but even though it's not Minnesota or New York, I'm thinking "NoCal in December outdoor show? Brrr!" Keep in mind Bobby's comment on the temp. at the end of the 5/6/70 show.... |

| Outdoor show unlikely. I live in Santa Rosa and no one puts on outdoor shows in December. It's highly likely that they played one of two venues at the fairgrounds: Santa Rosa Veterans building, where they played in 1969 or Grace Pavillion which is still used for the occasional concert. My 2 cents..... |
