Phall Phish '97 - A History of the Jams
This compilation includes all the moments that made Fall Tour '97 an amazing point in Phishtory. The only jam that should be included, and is not, is from the Ghost on 11/21/97. Alas, my copy wouldn't extract cleanly (There's 8 other Ghosts to represent the tune thoroughly though).

2007 NOTE: 10 years later and this music is still amoungst my favourite sounds I've ever had the pleasure to hear. And for PHISH nothing ranks higher to my ears. Show after show the band just floored us. I remember checking setlists leading up to my chance to catch some Phall action in Worcester and just thinking the band had gone crazy but it was all good! Admittedly, there are moments lacking from this collection, as would be the case with any compilation. Nonetheless, I feel these improvisations more than represent what for me was truly a highwater mark in seeing this band evolve -- the abandon and creative energy that was Phall 1997.
