Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| why such a late start, clancy? |

| Yo, easy on the Clan-Man. He's been extremely generous and timely. Just don't question his decisions at this point. He needs to eat and stuff too, you know. Thanks for this potential upgrade! - But seriously, clancy, why the late start? ;) |

LOL :)
Originally I wanted the Neumann U89i's to be seeded for today, because I don't have that transfer. And Dave indeed started the upload, but his computer is very busy with important university work, so the upload is stuck at 3.2% for hours now. Exactly that was the point when I got impatient, I wanted this show to be out and seeded before I start the last seed tomorrow.
That's why I started this seed so late, silly dudes!

| Okay, I want to know which Neumann source is "better." Tell me or I'll...I'll, "I'LL NOT LIKE YOU ANY MORE!"...Tom Hanks, The Money Pit - an 80's comedy classic. Today's other quote was Cheech and Chong, for those who don't know that one either. |
| ClancyWiggum |
2007-12-12 20:24:31 |
The Money Pit, hahaha... when the bathtub falls through the floor and Hanks laughs/cries this hysterical laugh/cry... hahaha, one day I'll die because of that scene!
My theory is that both Neumann transfers (U87 and U89i) actually are the same source, but one tape was mislabeled, but of course I can't be sure about that. (I don't even know enough technical stuff to say which one is the mislabeled one) As soon as I have both I'll compare them and try to find out... |

| Hmmm...my client was open all afternoon, but the upload was stuck at 0. What's up with that? Sorry bout that. I'll have the U89 up and running soon. Seriously...U87...U89......not a hell of a lot of difference in the taper section. |
