This source contained over Ten Thousand Digital Ticks and Zippers, all of varying degree and audibility. Intense error analysis truly found that many, to my shock. I spent a couple of weeks working on this to attain a listenable copy, pausing a day at a time for sanity. The result is largely transparent, by using a combination of tools to do the trick. Some passages were literally unlistenable before, with zippers bad enough to damage speakers. So while what we have here is not perfect, it certainly suffices. Set1 levels and mix were off the charts, conversely Set2 was settled and fine. Both Sets now have a similar feel. Enjoy and Happy 2008. -jamie

|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.

|Thank you very much for all of your hard work and for sharing this great show.
P.S. I, too, cannot access Lossless Legs. I haven't been able to for about a month now.
|Great show ~ thanks !
|For those who remember the old Keystone Berkeley, it had an upstairs area, right above the bar, with a few seats next to a railing (a front row balcony, if you will). I sat there for this and many other JGB shows. Immediately to the right was sandwiched in the the soundboard area, which you had to climb into and had a small bench seat. Phil Lesh sat there for this show, and loved every minute. Thanks for the super human effort to get this show out there. Happy holidays!
|Cool story! Noteworthy, too, that Phil had sat in with JGB in June (IIRC) and would so so again in August.
|Merry Christmas indeed - thanks for the efforts on this great show

|TO: folks trying to get on LL...
I prune the users (almost) every day form 8-9AM CST. That usually opens 20-50 spots that normally fill within hours. My apologies to anyone trying to get on. If you have a problem for more than a few days trying to get an account then email me. I'll free space or create the account myself.
