Encore:
1. Theme From The Bottom
* Tiny flash of diginoise during the opening "loops" of the song. Levels slightly hot for first few mins.
I transferred this to SHN several years ago, but never circulated it. I think it's a fantastic sounding recording of a great
show (especially for 1999!). I moved the encore to the end of D1 to maintain the continuity of the 2nd set, but you could
also place it onto a 3rd disc if you prefer.
Enjoy!

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Very underrated show.
This nearly 30 minute Ghost is what made the Boise Bag so damn cool.
Similar spaciness abound...
Nice seed, Nab.

| People, this is quite possibly the best Bathtub Gin ever! Beyond that, this Gin finds Phish at one of their most effortless and flowing peaks of all time. Thee most underrated (west coast anyone?) phish moment / show...get this for the Gin alone. Unbelievably fresh and easy and flowing and delicious and GOOD. wow! get it. |

| jamesbra, thanks for the recommendation. I never took a look at this show before, I went ahead and download the Gin and really enjoyed it. I tend to forget the boys still had some decent jams after summer '98. |

| '99 (especially Q4) does not deserve the widely-held derision Phans give it. |

| i remember people actually yelling and exclaiming the virtues of this bathtub gin as we walked out. something like -"how 'bout that gin!!" and 100's of people hooting and hollering. classic moment. the lights coming on at the end of the show really screwed up the vibe. the venue was such a contrast to the 2 gorge shows before it. weird place. it had these bizarre bleachers set up in the middle of the race track, like a high school football game. also remember our friend from michigan passing out thousands of flowers before and during the show. i can't wait to hear this again. thanks for the flashback |

I recall this show like it was yesterday. Seemed like such an unlikely place for a show. venue had virtually no character, dusty, windy. My girlfriend had some powerful mood swings the whole trip (Gorge nite 2, and portland, followed by Shoreline). She was from Germany, and seeing Phish for the first time.
I was happy to hear Mozambique. The Gin was something to behold; when the jam took off, it felt like we were dancing in a glass of bubbly. One of those surreal musical moments Phish were so capable of. Possum is probably my favorite memory from this show, with the band firing up peak after peak and remaining in mind as the best I'd ever see.
Didn't comprehend much of the Ghost>Jim segment, but Roggae was played with care. and the 2001 (short)>YEM was pure fire (although otherwise standard).
Theme encore was welcome, and very fluid.
Thanks for seeding this. So great to hear it again after so many years.
The Gin lives up to expectations; that slow '99 groove, yet with the creative spark that didn't always appear in the later years. |

Just a side note;
get the first set and encore (if you like Theme).
second set is just weird with a few good moments. Whole first set flows great. Even Back on the Train is great here. |

| This was my first Phish show, tried taping from the OTS w/ an At-822 & Sony MD which resulted in a less than stellar recording ;) Looking forward to this, thanks. |

wow, good stuff. I was there, too --- i remember when the hay truck caught on fire before the show, and it wasn't certain (for a minute) that it would go on! Luckily it did!
I hope there is a seed or two around to give a hand on this.
thanks!! |
