Hard to believe, after all these years, this 'rough gem' has surfaced! I remember the posterboard sign on the front of the stage, w/ a circle & slash over a mandolin - of course, any Sam Bush fan knows if it's got strings, he can play it! An all electric set w/ SB & Kenny Lee on guitars. It's a night that the band had at least as much fun as the crowd/campers - it was more like a house party w/ 300 of your closest friends than a concert!
I don't know if the Green Acres gang still puts on for shows like this (other than the annual bbq), as the popularity of the down-home venue sort of outgrew what was feasible, but kudos to Niles & Steve for the great run of shows the hosted out in the holler back in the day!!!
can't wait to hear this again - I don't suppose you have the Bela show that happened a few months later to post???

I have a couple of Duckbutter soundboards...asked Kenny if it wouls be OK to upload and he deferred to Sam who asked me not to.
No problem with auds though.
BTW, Duckbutter will be playing in Bowling Green next September as part of the Kentucky Blues Festival. |

I'm diggin al these Green Acres thisg coming into light. I 'member one morning seeing all the folks stuck at the bottom of the hill following a rainy night. Nobody cared if they got out after having The NGR blow our minds the night before. Green acres... good memories. thanks for the upload. |

| hey, can i get some seeds on this? i wish i had more duck butter. why won't sam release this stuff, they didn't do studio stuff? i know copy rights and all that, but come on... we want to remember the nights we can remember. |
