| Description | a straight repost from COtapers of Phil's excellent recording of this wild night.
tiny venue (75 people) in the bands hometown, this was billed as a Jeff Austin and Friends show - and then the rumors started to circulate. this was a heck of a way to kickoff Yonder's 10th anniversary year. the venue used to be known as the Acoustic Coffee House, and it was here that the members of the band first met each other and played their very first gig.

This show apitamizes why I download live music. I get to be at a special moment in time. A moment when walls are broken down. I love Yonder Mountain String Band and despite the fact that I can't "tour" anymore or know them personally, a recording like this makes me feel like part of the family. Long live YMSB and long live music, may it heal all that needs repair, may it bring togethers those that don't agree, and may it make this blessed earth a place worth living.
