Thanks for the up!
I've always liked the Grateful Dead. But musicians, like other entertainers are not who I would seek political advice from. I like Ron Paul. He's not controlled by the CFR, like most republicans & democrats are. They only argue with each other to distract you from noticing that they both have the same goal... stripping away our rights.
Just my opinion!
Again, Thank you for sharing this! |

Thanks for the seed.
However, on a separate note, not to inject political hyperbole into a music board, but purely as a response to carpetdawg1, take another look at Ron Paul and his bigoted past before making your voting decision:

Thanks for the info! I agree this is not the place, but considering the event was political, I just threw my 2 cents in. And don't worry ...Ron Paul will not win the primary. So he would have to run as an independent, which I doubt. I don't like either party.
Ian, Thanks again for taping & sharing!!!

Thank you very, very much for the quick UL on this one.
Fantastic!
Questions:
Where was Bill K?
Will they ever tour as the 'Dead' again?
If not, why?
Is there a permanent riff over free downloads, or other matters?
Thanks again for this one. |

This is very well taped..a pleasure to listen to...
Id like to simply note this is 16/48, not 44.1. I wasnt sure if you emant to seed the 24/48, or forgot to do a SRC after you made it 16 bit. To me, any files is fine as they all play off the PC, but the old CDR people may be confused.
Regardless , awesome job taping!!!

deadegad,
either Relix or Jambase had a review that mentioned Bill K. was in Hawaii. No idea to your second question and I bet you only a few people on the earth actually have a clue if the answer is yes or no. Lets hope they do soon.
Ian,
Thanks for taping and sharing! |

| rustystrings, i've just transferred the FLACs to WAVs and it's only SET III that is 24/48. SET I & II are 16/44.1. |

shit
i messed up.
yes, set three is 16/48.
you need to change each track (starting with disc 2) to 44.1khz in order to burn to CD - you can do this in soundforge or any audio editing program.
i can re-do the torrent - what do you all think?

seed the 24 48s..let the people do the SRC..
for all..a free good utility for it is at www.voxengo.com
it is called R8Brain, and is free. R8Brain Pro is among the finest utilities to do SRC until weiss-saracon hardware is involved. |

Z-Man, i was going to run up front at the drink rail - but when we got inside it was already packed.
we got to the venue before doors, but it was a clusterfuck with the will call ticket only situation. we considered cutting the line, but decided to be good deadheads and waited in line like everyone else.
once i got inside, the spot i was planning on taping from at the drink rail was packed. Might have been able to squeeze my way in but didn't want to piss anyone off, i wanted to enjoy the show since i had just driven 6+ hours to get there and i knew i was driving another 6 in the morning...
i am going to re-seed the 16/44 files - i don't really have the bandwidth to seed the 24bit.
thanks |

Thanks for the tip, Rusty.... I needed a good program for sample rate converting but hadn't gotten around to finding one yet. |
