Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.

This was a great set. I put up the Los Lobos set sometime a month or so ago.
I do not torrent stuff much 'cause it can be a real hardship to give up use of my laptop for the length of time it takes for enough folks to complete and continue seeding for others. Most of the time, I have too much editing/burning/processing to do, aside from pers. stuff, and do not have the 12-36 hours I can give it up. Now that etree has been functioning really wacky, and further slowing the process, it's been that much harder.
Bands approved on the LMA are much easier, since it's one time up via FTP without bandwidth being diluted by multiple leechers. Then, everyone can DL the files at their leisure. |
