Location: ~10' back from stage right, stand ~8', pointed directly at house PA speakers above stage.

Notes: There is some crowd noise on this, but mostly inbetween songs and nothing that really detracts from the music in my opinion. I was the only taper that night so there won't be any more tapes. This is a great show, NRPS are getting better and better. Please email me with any feedback on this show!

Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thanks so much for recording and getting this put up. I love the NRPS. Looks good for the 3G's in Thornville,OH.
I saw them in Athens,OH and they are around Meigs County alot, at least Michael is. Buddy Cage played with Hot Tuna and GE Smith with Michael F at the year before last's season finale at Jorma's Fur Peace Ranch. It was 11-10-2006 if I remember correctly. This year it was Electric Hot Tuna with GE Smith and Pete Sears(as they were touring just b/4 from as "MoonAlice" Oregon>Mexicali Blues if memory serves.) I viewed two of the early Oregon shows on a live video cast. I was not too impressed with MoonAlice, they could be so much more, lots of talent in that group of 7. Anyhow I skipped the Columbus,OH date, but my friends went to Mexicali Blues in Teaneck,NJ and I sent him the show that someone uploaded and he surprised me with a signed MoonAlice poster from the Teaneck,NJ. I see him every year in Meigs County though. I had a ticket to go to the Bear's Picnic, but then Steve Kimock was announced as the lead guitarist that had the task of filling Mark Karan's shoes(bless him) and he was Kimock had to cancel the festival so I regretting that I did not go now. Wish I had. I have heard all the shows though, so I'm satisfied. While I'm speaking of Kimock, his JamCruise 1.10.2006 "Many Rivers To Cross" with SK on lapsteel and Buddy Cage ranks very high and clocks in at just 10minutes of bliss. Check the LMA, it may be on there. But I know you can still pick up the DSBD(dot)NET Charlie Miller 24bit masterpiece there. The Many Rivers is worth the price alone. Anyways I hope the NRPS come my way sooner than this summer, but I feel blessed as it is. Michael told me to check out there new DVD, called: "NRPS:Wanted_Live @t Turkey Trot," it comes with the DVD and a CD also and Michael F signed it for me when I hanging out preshow one day, it came out on from a show with only 200 people in attendance and it's very intimate and you can clearly tell the band and everyone in attendance is having a grand time. It's from the middle of it's SoldOut 2006 Summer Tour in Candor,NY. Highlights for me included a 16min Garden of Eden and a 12min Portland Woman. They do 2 P.Rowan #s too Lonesome LA Cowboy and Panama Red and yes Herny is on it. Nuff said I'm sure, check them out at
http://www.thenewriders.com/ or http://www.nelsonband.com/
Blessings,
~H&L!

Nice job with the tunes jag. People are going to start thinking that Roanoke is a hot bed of music. Now if we can only get people to support the music here in Roanoke. Keep up the good work

Nobody knows what happened to our seed.
I sent a friendly email asking if they forgot
about this torrent.

I would also like to get a copy of this show,
dnb_toastmaster 2008-03-01 07:24:06
Can we proclaim this torrent dead?

The seeder never provided an entire copy.

It really sucks when someone uploads a torrent and teases us with a partial download...
dnb_toastmaster 2008-03-01 15:20:09
I grabbed the NRPS set from the archive and am seeding
those files. I'm not a complete seed because I don't
have the Scarekrow set.
