Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

I missed them the first times around, hometown shows :)

There was a hilarious picture in the next issue of the CPJ (the campus newspaper) after this show of the huge variety of smoking implements seized during this show.

I recall reading not so great reviews, something to the extent of trey even not 'feeling' it at this show? anyone else? Maybe that is why they came back around in the fall and tore the city a new one!!

cheers

set list looks smokin'

thanks for sharing!

tadpoleman 2008-02-22 00:20:37
Very good show, and VERY underrated!
awreetus-awrightus 2008-02-22 09:09:07
First set has some amazing jamming. Maze is VERY intense. It's Ice has a beautiful and unique Page-led middle jam. And Bathtub Gin leads to an incredible jam which has to be heard to be appreciated. Definitely an underrated show, particularly the first set.

I was at this show and it was great! Trey was pretty hammered when they came back from the set break; you hear him miss several cues and timepoints in Antelope as an indicator of this. It was at this show that, despite being married, I discovered that I have a latent crush on Mike :) Not really, but I just couldn't stop watching him this night. Isn't that one way to know you're a true Phish fan?
eee 2008-02-22 12:29:09
I had a great time at this show, but that could have had something to do with the large quantity of chocolate squares that were going around. Those were great. One of those shows where it seemed like 80% of the crowd or higher were on another plane (see the chocolate squares). Also ran into some old high school buddies from VT at this show, which was always fun. Thanks for the new source. Does this source exist for the MOORE THEATER the next night on the 21st (I hope I hope) as the NAK300 version that circulates leaves something to be desired IMO.
sttl99 2008-02-22 13:07:52
Wow. When Page is this on, it really doesn't matter what Trey is doing! ;)

I don't know. Eliot only sent me the 19th, 20th, and 22nd. maybe it does exist but Eliot doesn't have it? or maybe the taper skipped a night? sorry I can't provide any more info.
gainesvillegreen 2008-02-22 23:52:27
"Wow. When Page is this on, it really doesn't matter what Trey is doing! ;)"

Werd.

Thanks Jason.
eee 2008-02-27 12:38:26
Thanks for the info Jason. I have cassettes from the moore that are not the nak source and I like how they sound. Thanks to Eliot for getting these out there. This was a fun run of shows and having multiple sources is nice.
probeck 2008-02-27 18:24:31
Seek and ye shall find!! I'm glad I could still get this one! Thanks!!
AZStearns 2008-03-03 19:01:58
Big thanks on this one, great show. I love the jams during It's Ice and Bathtub Gin, really smokin'. Haven't gotten to the second set yet, but that's what the ride home from work is for!

One thing I like about the recording is the levels are balanced. Too often Phish tapes, imo, have levels that are so hot there is distortion of bass, guitar, vocals, or all of the above. This recording is balanced and crisp. After all, that's what the volume knob is for, right?

Anybody willing to give this a kick start? Thanks!
One of my personal favorite shows. I have had the tape since a feew weeks after the show. I still smile thinking about this one!
Thanks, M
