Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| It was night meeting you Todd. Good to put a face to the name. So what do you think of taping so far? |

Great meeting you too.
Just finished the transfer, and should be up in a few minutes.

| It's just too funny - that on e-tree, you could choose a recording because of a "brand name" - but if there's ever a choice to be made, Guidry recordings... thanks for taping and upping so quickly, man. I'm sure it'll be as dynamite as your other pulls. |

Thanks for getting this up so fast. Great show.
Does anyone else get a dropout at 0:53 of the first track? |

Pretty sure most of the recordings came out the same
as all of them have on this tour.
They all sound great IMO.
Proof positive I was in the seat right next to ed and mine came out the same.
I grab them all for archival purposes.
The one that sounds different than everyones is the stage lip schoeps, which will be up this afternoon...
There's not really much in a brand name at these theatres.
Plus it comes down to personal preference. Whether you're a schoeps head, neumann head, akg head or just a music head in general. If you're the latter of the four you grab them all.

| And I'd like to add this source has a really nice warm full sound to it. Excellent recording. |

didn't mean to imply anything negative about the others - I'm always just so psyched to hear the show again that I can't wait to figure out which one is better quality, and I know I can always count on Ed.
that being said, the stage-front recording - those mic's caught my eye from the balcony. is that yours, Todd? I'll probably try that one out...
Many thanks again, all tapers. |

Not at all dan. I agree with your statement about choosing brand names. I think it's a great thing to have all of these choices. Sorry for the confusion.
I was just stating that they all came out great,
and people need not worry about brand names.
Everyone of these recordings has tiny subtle differences,
which is probably based more on location and configuration
of the mics than anything else.
I think Eds tape smokes, just like mine and andy's.
You can't go wrong with any of them IMO.
Mine is the akg andy's is the schoeps, and the stage lip,
which will be put up later is Rob A./Flaschners recording.
Just the location for the stage lip will obviously sound different.
Oh and noahz, I hear the dropout too.

| Thanks, Ed. And, it was nice meeting you (I was on the other side of Todd)... It's always nice to attach a face to a name, especially after listening to all those fine recordings you've been giving us for years. -Tom |

Good God they've really solidified these new songs so much since I last saw them (2/23). Wow. This recording sounds fantastic too.
Hoping a few of their shows from the other seasonal tours take place in the mid west so I can get another fix of MMW! |

| The drop out is because the deck was recording at 24/48 and apogee was set at 16/44. I noticed it and changed the apogee to 24/48. I wasn’t going to mention it. But it looks like I can't get anything past you guys. Thanks for the feedback. I can't wait to check out all of the sources. Wish I saw more of this tour, I say that every time. It was fun and summer will be here in no time. Anyone here going to Europe? |
