Giants Stadium; East Rutherford, NJ

Fix of shnid 17028
I made the transition between CDs 2 and 3 seamless and converted the non-seekable shns to FLAC. Overlapping fade tracks were added to the end of CD 2 and the beginning of CD 3. For seamless playback simply remove the fade tracks.
Bill Tetzeli (btet@adelphia.net)
3/30/2006
And then before he retired from doing these fixes, Bill re-released many of them "reflaced" to fix the metadata problems in the original. This is one of those re-releases.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

The Hornsby project skips the show from RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. But I should mention that show, because it's wonderful. Absent some over-exuberant Vince at the beginning of the first set, it's an exemplary performance. I'm sorry I can't point you at an AUD to whet your appetite. You will just have to take my word that it's great and go buy it:
http://www.deadnetstore.com/Commerce/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductGuid=9818d17e-bb21-48b2-8654-ae7f12356e99&CategoryGuid=a7b282e6-dfd4-42a2-b62b-d33057e65c42
After playing well in DC, the boys wandered up the highway to New Jersey and played the show that you can download here. They're in the middle of a rather remarkable week (you absolutely must have a copy of 06-14, 06-17, and 06-20). This show is not up to that high bar. There's really nothing to complain about, but there's nothing to call out either. It's a good show compared to where we got a few years later, but it's not up to the shows that surround it. Travel fatigue, perhaps? |

| Actually, this show really sucked for me. After a great time at 6/14/1991, and trading 2 extras I had for that night for 6/16, I drove all day to get to the Meadowlands only to get booted from the show before it started. I had one lower level and one floor ticket, and tried to get a friend onto the floor (after an easy time of doing it at RFK). Got caught and booted before the first note. Got taken to the holding tank, a mug shot taken, and shown the door. Totally sucked. The only mitigating factor was seeing the setlist for 6/17 and knowing that 6/16 pailed in comparison. |

| I was at this show, and I used to make up names for drums and space. This night drums was "It All Became Blurry" and space was "In The Lair Of The Wobble Beast" |

| And about SteveSw's comment, you know I'd really like and audience of that RFK show, I've always thought Bob's guitar was too loud in the "Offical" release. Or a matrix like the one for 6/17 that's here. |

| My 2 cents......I did the whole summer 91 tour, and I have to say, first night Pine Knob (6-19) was WAY better than 6-20. Phil was dropping HUGE bombs during the Scarlet>Fire and I thought the set list was better and well played.....IMO of course. |

Jerry finds a slick groove in the jam from China into Rider.
Ding, da-da-ding, ding, da-da-ding, ding, da-da-ding, ding, da-da-ding, ding, da-da-ding!
Very cool and a very fast/focused China>Rider jam. Check it out.
Also, I would even go so far as to make a text file note of this....there is an extra long and killer Jam after Black Peter as the boys/Jerry took their time to tidy up the song. Excellent stuff.
This June 1991, continuing in Aug 1991 and then of course the great MSG and Boston runs gave us allot of great shows and reason to be happy and hopefully about the post Brent era. Who knew it would crumble so fast and that Spring 1992 would be so disappointing. It broke my heart...

| The worst part of this show for me was the sheet of paper I bought that turn out to be only a sheet of paper. And last time I would see Jerry......well I guess that was the worst part. |

| bookmarked b/w 6/14 and 6/17 this was a pretty well played show. Interesting switcheroo, Jack Straw as second set opener and the following night Eyes as first set opener. Not to mention Little Feat put in a pretty fun set both nites opening up. It seems like I remember Phil watching their set from the stage. |

If anyone can help seed this just a bit longer, I would really appreciate it. I'm at 90.8 percent, so it wouldn't take long at all.
Any help at all... |
