Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those

I'm relistening to these shows, and there seems to be an argument.
Bruce plays some interesting things in the first set. You might like or another of those songs, but especially in the light of what we've just been given in the summer tour, it's ordinary. The second set starts out well with the China Cat > Rider, and then tries to go on but does not IMHO. It's workmanlike but not really engaged.
But what do I know! Come on and extol this show! It needs it! |

I was at this run, and yeah, there was better shows in the 6 nights (3 here in Sacto, and 3 at Shoreline)... but after sucking on some white perf during the opening songs it was amazing how such a mundane show could take you to far away places. I saw things that night, from 15 feet away from the stage that I never imagined. The last night at expo was technically the best, but since I saw that guy die that night it got knocked down a few notches because I couldnt really enjoy myself a bunch... so this is the show I remember from Expo.
Of note: Bruce and Vince 'switched spots' during the 'Miracle', the soundman had a few shaky minutes during Iko... and Jerry turned into a Black Widow Spider during Stella Blue. |

| Thanks for the Expos! You have to realize, if you never saw THE BOYS there, that this was back porch in July kind of hometown shows, not like out of town tour stuff. Every show was GREAT. Can you you say mellow party in beatiful Sacto? Really shouldn't be critiqued like the shows on the LLAMA by people who have no clue... |

I have to agree with everything that tentted said... this was the place to be. I always thought it was WAY, WAY better than Shoreline.
The floor only went about 30 feet past the back of the board. Small venue... maybe 10,000 soulds could fit in there. Never seemed too packed.

Iko strong, but didn't really go much from there. Whole verses of Althea forgotten, i recall.
Nonetheless, get the Bird Song.
Once again: GET THE BIRD SONG! It's great; excellent musicianship and good playing all around; even a stop-on-a-dime moment.
Second set. "there's nothing to see here, please move on..." Jerry skipped his solo between the verses of Stella Blue. It was that kind of night. |
