this show smokes! definately in my mind(and many agree) one of the monumental shows in their history.
also note that these are not the ETREE.ORG shortens. THEIR MD5'S WILL NOT MATCH THESE.
the EAC log is included for reference.

|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.
|Thanks alot for this
I slept on this recently, stoked to see it here.
Unreal King Solomon's. Twenty-three out of five stars.
Muchos Garcias, mi amigo
|Yes...The love has arisen fro the depths...Blues For Allah!
Glad to see some of my all-time favs popping up lately.
|never dared to imagine a pre-FM of this existed...
|woo-hoo, thanks for this!
|Amazing. Thanks for sharing this!
|BTW, the comment in the info text about etree md5s not matching must be out of date . The above posted md5s match etrees current records for this show:
We have a winner!
|" $5 advance; $7.50 at the door"
Man those were the days to see shows..I just paid 42.50 for a show next month at my local Ampihtheatre..
And people complain about high gas prices!
|this recording is just unreal-sounding. longtime favorite heard like new again. my mind is re-blown.
IMO the KSM is a serious contender for the single sickest GD jam of all time. the combination of intensity, intricate complexity and improvisational abandon is staggering.
And all that after opening - opening! - with instrumental Blues > modal space > dissonant Tiger jam...lol! those pranksters! what a fuck-with! good for the crowd that they were up for it, I love hearing them go nuts at the end.
and some of the tones Garcia played with in '75 are unique. this recording really shows them off.
|Wow it only says in dead base that they were recording Blues for Alah during this time what a treat thanks
|Ow I stand corrected Kezar is listed dates are correct this and 6-17-75 Winterland,8-13-75 Great American Music Hall San Fran,9-28-75 Lindley Medows, Golden Gate,San Fran Are the only "live" gigs preformed
|Thanks for the post!
I lost this show a few years back, nice to its return:)
|thank you ever so kindly!
|I've been into the Dead for amost 20 years now, and I have never heard this one. For whatever reason, it's just eluded me. Thanks for making this available to 'heads everywhere. :-)
