Notes:
The recording featured numerous dead spots between songs. When I was given the discs I was told
it was recorded using a Mac book through the SBD, that's all he knew. He also mentioned that the
taper was stopping and starting the recording instead of letting it run throughout the show. I'm
not sure the reason for this but I feel it's the reason the dead spots exist between songs.
I removed all the dead spots using CD Wav, which was also used to track the show as the discs
were all one track to start with. There is a bit of feedback early on in Red House, but it doesn't
last too long. Disc one track one starts as mono for about 3 seconds then goes stereo. It would
appear that Down with Disease became a victim of the stops and starts as only the tail end of the
song was present on the master discs. Beyond that the recording is a solid dsbd with an equal
mix of vocals and instruments. Since the audience is fairly close the sbd does pick up some
audience yells which only adds to the recording. Some excellent segues throughout the evening,
and it would appear the Schultzy got a bit drunk at the end! Enjoy!

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for

Here's an interesting one....friends of mine have played in a band for a few years now, I ask for something to seed and what do I get? The last show : )
These guys have come a long way in the past few years, lots of fun covers with a very bluesy feel. Enjoy their takes on everything from Johnny Cash to Phish to Ween. Sound-wise I did very little besides split the tracks, its a nice even recording with all vocals and instruments at comparable levels. |
