Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Nice, don't have this one yet, the boys always played well at Nassau. Thanks for this.
BTW, anyone know what happened to JP's? |

| There are a lot of terrific eras in the band's playing. And while the early 80's are not nearly as heroic as times in the 60's and 70's -- I saw much of the early 80's in my late teens and early 20's and never will shake that experience. Despite being present at my childrens' births, traveling the world and being a happy human, I'll never match the level of pure joy that I felt as a young man attending these early 80 's shows. Sorry for the nostalgia. |

After hundreds of shows starting in 1979, I hold the early 80's very close to my heart. Talking about the Dead's best era's is so difficult because each era was so different, they evolved rapidly and continously. Every era has it's high points and low points. Listening to the tapes I have found favorites from each year. Attending shows the same, I have favorites that are outstanding and way above the average. In the late 80's after In The Dark, the scene at shows changed somewhat for the worse, still a great time, but different and not as cozy and generally connected as before. That being said, the early 80's offer some of my favorites shows. Listen to spring 81 tour dfor some scorchers. I'm listening to this show from and old Aud tape right now and they sound good, so I'm sure a Charlie Miller Board will be awesome!!
Thanks CM!!! |
