|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.
|highly recommended if you don't have it. this Other One is a favorite of mine, I call it the "try, try again" version. Phil and the boys build up to a bomby intro but then only sorta nail it, so they back off and go around a second time and really crush it. Then after a nice, typical-ish but fiery middle section there's an unusually extended for the era outro jam in which Jerry seems absolutely determined to get just one more peaky Other One moment out of the ol' Greek Theater. It rises and falls a few times, the rest of the band seems really to fall back but Jerry pushes it to a final and really quite intense peak. The Wharf Rat is also quite good and there's some tasty bits in set 1 as well, including a Loser I really like.
|My first show, so of course it's one of my favorites, but if I had known then what I know now, man I would've loved it even more. All the old timers were saying, "yeah, you saw a good show," with an air of tremendous understatement. It's all good, but the Other One will melt your face. Jerry is the energizer bunny, for once. Yay!
|Thanks Jeff for taking care of this for me.
|Sorry this has nothing to do with this particular show, but i was wondering if somebody could put up 12.02.1981 University of Illinois. My date of birth show AND it was going on only a couple hundred miles from me. For future reference, is there a proper place to request?
|I also do not know where to put any requests... I'm looking for gd83-09-18.sbd.dodd.17409.sbeok.shnf. It would be very nice... Thx and sorry for the wrong place for my request...
|Thanks for a great show!
|this was my first show as well! 15 yrs old at teh greek. The Other One scared this hell out of me!!
this is a great and underrated 89 show... Jack Straw jam, Loser, and whole 2nd set are phenomenal
