Another great Telluride set. This particular show is a request (sorry it took so long). This show has spread very well via snail mail, but I've yet to see it Bit Torrented, actually I've yet to even see a FLAC/SHN version of it. So here it is.
This set comes just a year and a half after Coffin began hanging around, and about 2 months after he was made an actual member of the Flecktones. Bruce comes out for the majority of the set, and his additions are fantastic. This version of Big Country is one of my favorites. And as for Stomping Grounds, who could resist it with that line up!
I'm going to attempt to get another '98 show out next week, but we'll see how that goes. I hope you enjoy!

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

I second that Gruven, Source ??????
Audience or Sbd ??
wondering ....... ? |

Sbd out of TBF is almost unheard of, best you can usually hope for is fm.
Craig Ferguson is sitting on decades of Sbd reels that are probably unbelievably good. He has his own Vault. |

Dear Mr Ferguson:
I am very eager to meet with you, I could come anywhere in the continental US at any time of your choosing and bring with me my harem of young, hot lady friends. While they are tending to you, I will be pilfering your vault and liberating years of gems while I am at it. Have no fear, my harem will make you completely forget that you have been holding back on these reels for decades for reasons one could only see as... well, it aint being seen as very nice.
If the harem cant satisfy you, and the feeling you get deep down inside by doing something magical for the taping community at large doesnt do it for you... then perhaps being bound and gagged and held up for the goods will work. Telluride, after all, was a site of a Butch & Sundance robbery years ago.
In jest... sort of.
Desdave
PS: RELEASE THE REELS! |

Source? I don't have a clue.
I know there is an AUD source and a source that claims to be SBD. But as was already mentioned, SBDs from Telluride are practically unheard of.
Your guess is as good as mine, but if you figure it out, let me know. I got this in a trade . . . a LONG time ago with no information aside from the date.
All I know is this is a damn good show, someone requested that I up it, and I think it deserves to be spread.
Thanks, enjoy. |

| Thank you! i am listening to this now and it is great. This brings back some memories: the first time i saw this band was on 5/3/98 at music midtown festival in atlanta, ga. they were scheduled to play on sunday around 6pm... the band to follow was tito puente i believe, however that show was cancelled at the last moment. the flecktones set was amazing, jeff coffin played the enitre show, and it was a surprise that they continued played for an extra hour or hour and a half or so since tito puente did not show up. the show was played in this white tent on a field in midtown atlanta.., pretty crowded... but the music was incredible and i must say after the hundred and hundreds of concerts i have ever seen this particular one was right up there among my favorites. this telluride show is great to hear for one since it was around that same spring/summer of '98. great upload. thanks again. ps- if anyone has 5/3/98 on tape please share!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!! |

Like, if everyone could please put down the pipes
and Fisher Price headphones and please mention whether or not this is a SBD OR AUD, that would be great.
And yeah, it matters..... |

It's Audience.
Nice attitude. If it mattered so much to you just download and listen for yourself. It's not hard... you click the torrent... a couple hours later you have an answer. If you don't like what you hear, you delete. No harm done.
In other news, thanks for the show, it is a great one. |

| ...download a program called utorrent - click on one file you want to sample and download it, listen, decide if you want it or not. This is a very good audience recording. |
