| Description | Date: 19 April 2008
Location: Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii
Venue: Waikiki Shell
Kokua Festival 2008
Lineage: Audio Reality binaural mics > Sony RH1 (HiSP 256kbps) >
Sonic Stage to PC/WAV > Cool Edit Pro (tracking) > flac
Location: Section CC1 - equivalent to row 25 center
Song titles courtesy of posting at Ants Marching, except they
didn't have the Tim solo. It was the Neil Young tune, "After
The Goldrush"
Great venue, great vibe (as Dave Matthews says during his rap).
Dave and Tim also came back on for the last two encore tunes
of Jack Johnson's headline set. They did Jimmy Buffet's,
"Pirate Looks At 40" and then everyone came back on stage
for, "The 3 R's" which is the basis for the Kokua Festival -
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
BTW, Kokua means "help" so let us all keep the spirit of the
festival and practice the 3 R's.
Aloha,
nassau73

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

I recorded both nights of Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds as well as Jack Johnson.
Once there are seeds other than myself for this Dave & Tim, I'll start the Jack Johnson 4/19.
Probably sometime tomorrow, I'll get the Sunday night Dave/Tim as well as Jack Johnson.
The Dave & Tim show is completely different for Sunday. Jack's show has slight variations.
The Dave/Tim and Jack encore on Sunday was also a Pirate Looks at 40. The 3 R's on Sunday also features everyone but Dave Matthews is cajoled into doing the 3 times tables - which drew a great response from the crowd.
Enjoy the shows because Dave Matthews certainly sounded like he was! I haven't had a chance to see him since I left the mainland. If I recall correctly, it was Portland, OR '99 that I saw him last. Anyway, he seemed really loose these shows on Oahu and rapped freely.
