Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

I also have access to the 24 bit... I can download it and post if if anyone wants it instead/also.

Sounds great, but I would also be interested in hearing the 24 bit version. Planet Telex was the definite highlight for me

Radiohead trade friendly now?

not trying to be a downer, just very curious
itsnahtatumahh 2008-05-17 16:21:00
thanks a ton!

has anyone seen 5/8 floating around anywhere?
itsnahtatumahh 2008-05-17 16:22:38
terrapinj,

from my understanding, radiohead has been trade friendly for awhile - but it's the venues that have been against recording.
terrapinj 2008-05-17 16:56:21
hmm haven't heard anything about them being taper friendly

in this case Verizon Wireless allows taping if the artist does, perhaps they just don't make it known to the venue that its allowed, but i still find it kinda hard to believe they are cool with it

i thought they even shut down tapers at bonnaroo in 2006
pimphand 2008-05-17 17:45:50
As far as I have seen every show has been stealthed. Radiohead has never siad they are cool with it, but they know the deal...showed it with the In Rainbows release.

Peace

The 24 bit source is now up as well. Enjoy everybody.
terrapinj 2008-05-18 12:10:59
