Re: 2/26/77... I know the source that is the 83283 is supposedely the best... but me likes the Ownes Brothers 23808 much better.

Much, much better actually.

Anyone else?

Thank you very much to all that have worked to put this up. It gives me a chance to fill in all the missing shows from one of my favorite late 70's years.

Yes. Thank You so much for getting this started. Glad I'm not home in Puerto Rico with my slow DSL for this project, and i got my 320GB external ready. Anyway as per the Winterland run, phenomenal, but I cannot hear a difference in the 2 sources for the 18th. db.etree doesn't really seem to have much of an answer. Can somebody enlighten me?
and really. Thanks. yeah, Thanks.

I appreciate all the help seeding!

Many of you have uploaded allot, and continue to do so. The_Bus uploads around 100GB per torrent. The pace of the project is based on how well I feel we are all helping each other. In other words, I will drag the pace out if I feel the number of seeders is getting to low. I don't expect these torrents to last forever, but I do need all the help I can get. I have NO problem with the time and money I put into this cause, I love doing it! All I ask is for you to please do what you can, and thanks again to those who have done so much already. We have over 300 grabbing the project, so far. ļ

Peace & love always,

The GD side of The_Bus

Yes, absolutely. I just did a side by side and for me it's not close. The Owens Bros is much less compressed and so has better clarity and separation. Just listen to Phil and that should tell the story.

I really appreciate the chance to hear the sources side by side like that. Outstanding.

Hey The_Bus if you are reading still, or other heavy seeders, I am interested in input on what effect only grabbing parts of torrents (using azureus) has on the seeding process. I already have a bunch of these sources, and due to limited HD space and limited time to burn filesets off to backups I can't keep up with the project if I dl the entire torrents. But I want to help seed.

It's hard to track my real ratio accurately when I do that...for instance if I dl 2 gigs of a 10 gig torrent, azureus thinks I have dl'd 10 gb and tracks my share ratio accordingly...I can figure out the real ratio, close enough...but still.

I'm just wondering, for those who know more about the technical details of seeding, is there any way it's lame to only grab parts? Is it hurting "the team"? Or if I share what I grab at a good ratio is that still ok?
