Your entitled to your opinion, but I don't give a shit. Your an offensive person and you are doing nothing for the community by telling tapers what they decided to go tape is "a waste of time". That is the attitude that will get you places, right? WRONG! If you don't like something move along and leave it for others to enjoy.

Thanks very much for taping and sharing this Galactic show. These guys are a grate party band !
This band has a wonderful sound and tremendous musical qualities ! Any band Stanton Moore is involved with I recommend to the world of music listeners. Also... since when has the jamband scene become snotty and elitest???
The scene has always been about variety of jammin' music.
Galactic hails from New Oreleans, you don't get more jammin' than that. IMHO.

Look, Galactic is just going through a different stage of development. They experiment with their sound from record to record. This new album has gotten them a lot of notice and they deserve it. Plus, they REALLY do a good job of infusing their sound with the stylings of rap. Of all of them, the smooth delivery of Chali 2Na is by far the best. Boots Riley fits the sound too, the more intense side of them.
Galactic has always been known as a band that had other bands 'within' it, ya know? The full band with Houseman for 1/3 the show, the band w/o him onstage, early on with and w/o the sax, then came the harp, guest vocalists after Houseman left, now rap. Great variety.
While the sets on the 'From the Corner...' tour are indeed predictable and probably will be until they stop plugging the album, change will come again. It's in their nature, same goes for MMW. It's what makes them great.
This too shall pass and then they'll try something cool on the next record.
The last shows I taped back in Feb of '07 @ Irving Plaza SMOKED! They'll get back to that style of play again, lots of great jamming.
Don't get me wrong though, I too and ready for the reemergence of pure instrumental gigs.
