I noticed the D5 in the info, and the first thing I thought was "You brought the D5 out to a show? wow." Then I began to wonder if it was my old one :)
Here's the (mostly complete) setlist:
1. Bass Beatbox
2.
3. Hungry Ghosts
4. Wetbones
5. Sand
Unless you are already planning to, I can upload this to archive.org in the next day or two.
Thanks again,
Jason |

| Yea it's your old deck. I am waiting for my r-44 to show up and decided to run DAT rather than not record. I keep telling myself that I don't have a problem and that I can stop at any time, but thats not the case. If you could upload this to archive for me that would be great... |

Hey Ed--
Thanks for rolling this--it really sounds great!!!! I did have one question though--was Mike set up on the left side for this one?? I only ask because he is usually always on the right side(his comfort zone) & the bass really seems to be favored in the left on your recording. Not trying to be nit-picky or question you, but is there any chance your cables were mistakenly reversed? Or perhaps Mike WAS on the left side? Or perhaps that's just how it was mixed in the house? Any ideas?
Either way, it sounds terrific & I was just curious.
Peace!! |

| I was thinking the same thing when listening to the recording. The cables were ok because the guitar was actually far left and the keys were actually far right. Mike was standing in the middle of the stage, his amp was on the right side of the stage, and was pointing towards the left side of the stage. I guess his amp was pointed towards where he was standing. So I think the mix turned out the way it did because of the house mix and because his amp was actually pointing towards the left mic rather than the right mic. That is the best I can come up with. Remember this was not at stage lip it was about 8 feet back. This spot sounds great but some times plays funny tricks on me. |
