I also recorded the whole sound tribe show (except maybe the first 10 minutes because I was watching the fireworks) and will try to get that posted soon. It was a 3 hour+ set, so a lot to go through! They just wouldn't stop playing. Ha ha... I think they finally ended at 3:30AM. Will get that going ASAP...

Is it possible that's because the recording quality isn't that great? I recommend checking out another recording of this band if you haven't heard them in person before making a decision. I think they're great.

| Dont know if its the recording I got or what (lots of wind?), but they sound like shite compared to what I heard at Allgood, especially w/ Trey. The songs at AG were all funky upbeat stuff. I love Phish more than life and have seen them 100 + times, but I'm being honest here. I'll have to listen to the AG set to confirm if it was as good as I remember it. Get Phils Allgood 4 Mic Matrix, best recording/show I've seen in a while. |

Yep, this recording doesn't sound very good compared to a lot of other recordings of Mike Gordon's band thus far, but it's the best recording of this show which has been released to-date. I'd love to hear a better copy, too.

| Hey Jonas,,,thanks for capturing this show for all of us who had the pleasure of being there. I too was surprised at the lack of tapers present,,,we were standing at the soundboard near you. Yes,,,it should've been pretty obvious to a lot of people what was gonna happen, and it did, and you got it for us. So,,,windy sound quality, lesser performance than AG,,whatever. We were there, and we got Mike's fat bass tones &Trey ripping it on a b&w Strat for a few tunes before 3/4 of a Phish reunion, if only for 1 song. And believe me, it was "all good". |
