Good job brother! I also taped but was having problems with people bumping into me. That bump would create a spike in the sound due to the cable moving. Cheap ass Radio Shack cable to connect recorder to preamp. But it's not bad. I also had a little wind but the crowd wasn't too bad where I was at.
Did you catch any other acts over the two days? I got Tom Petty & THB from day one, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, Mayer and DMB from day two. I probably won't mess with them till the weekend though. Still exhausted!
People just don't realize how hard it is to tape at a non-taping festival. You have to watch your gear, put up with drunks, people socializing, people arguing and all while maintaining your recording levels. It's almost like a job.

Hope to see the G&R show. I was not able to attend, but caught their set on BlueRoom. The Stairway to Heaven with Voodoo Chile tease was awsome. Hopefully, next year with enough people getting the word out, it'll be taper friendly. Thanks for the show. Looking forward to hearing it.

Despite what the web site stated, I don't believe the entire festival was non-taping. I saw at least two tapers recording John Mayer & Dave Matthews. My own Tom Petty from the festival is up on DAD at; http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=206375
