-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 4 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom & Todd....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.
All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw
These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess
Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)
I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

Thanks for the patches, Mike, to make this great source more complete than it was...
This is a killer show, in my opinion...this is the gig I have had the longest from this Dec run, and I never tire of listening to it... |

| I have close to 700 hours of live MMW and this is one of my all time favorites, top 3 easily. A must have. |

Wow, a top three for you? I always love hearing people's top three because they are quite often rather different from person to person.
Duggy - sorry about not including the shack project messages. Totally slipped my mind! |

| My first show was 2 nights later and it might be in my top 1. |

| The opening improv for 12.06.97 is incredible. A great matrix of that one circulates and I'm assuming Todd (Newplanet) will be torrenting that one shortly. I could only imagine that being your first show. Must have been totally surreal! |

LOVE Love love this first set -- my old fileset is missing much of the opening improv, so I'm thrilled to see a complete here! And a MAXTRIX on the way? Is it also complete? The Shack Project never ceases to delight -- thank you gentlemen!

| The MATRIX sources we'll be seeding are not for this show. There are MATRIX sources for 12/6+7/1997 which we'll be sharing...just to clarify... |

| That's probably the one I have. Plenty of stage noises/band talking. Yes that was the night that I decided that I prefer good music. |
