-- THE SHACK PROJECT --
This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically for the most part, with exceptions as we feel the vibe to seed other gigs from other times.

Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.

Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.

And thanks to the other 4 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike Tom & Todd....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

All shows listed here in SHN/FLAC will be seeded:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmw

These shows will be seeded as well, either by me or by one of a few other kind souls:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwaccess

Shows listed here circulate in some manner. We are looking for as close to the original source as we can get so if you can help out with any of the following, we'd all appreciate it:
http://db.etree.org/duggy/mmwneeds (this list is in the process of being compiled...maybe forever?)

I've started a thread over here for us to be able to discuss this project:

How come none of you fellas ever post comments anymore?
That's fucking weak IMO.
No one has anything to say about the greatest musicians of
our time?
C'mon mang.

how does this one sound? I am d/l ing it just wondering. Thanks for the project, I am not a huge MMW fan as I haven't listened to them in a while, but I loved this span of years

thanx yet again! looking forward to 4/18/98!

oh yeah, could someone possibly please seed 9/23/96 for me? appreciate it!

Twowoodruff,
This sounds like an auditorium aud.
Personally, an auditorium + 4061's = suck.
4061's are mainly stealth mics and should be kept as such as they are shitty mics to begin with.
Auditoriums are shitty because of the echoe factor, and no one in their right mind should ever perform in one.

So, if you catch my drift on this one, It's for archival purposes mainly.

newplanet: "How come none of you fellas ever post comments anymore?"

Dude! I love to rap wit ya'll about all this ridiculous musik, but I can't listen
as fast as I'm downloading all these great shows!

I always read comments and really appreciate everyone's input, especially
in terms of which shows are indispensable or particularly unique, because
I simply can't (well perhaps I coooould, but really I can't) download
EVERYTHING...

or Can I.....? ;-)

Keep the lovely musiks AND the comments coming friends! Very zing...
