It was winter in the upper midwest, so this little JGB jaunt was a cold one. We only saw the Rosemont show the night before, and this one. There was a bit of a snow flurry as we waited to get inside The Bradley Arena, a fairly new venue in Milwaukee. To my surprise, I saw more than one taper get refused entry once they found his gear. So I stashed my gear as well as possible, and looked around for which door seemed to have the most lax security. It was good research, as we entered without so much as a pat-down. I think it was because it was my wife (she is a babe:thumbsup and I, and we may have looked like locals, having grown up not far from there. We were bundled in full midwest winter gear. Anyway, once inside, we located our seats which were just off the floor (row 4 I think), on the right (Jerry's) side of the stage, just a bit in back of the board. Without doing a play by play, take a listen and you will hear that it was a very fun show. I am glad that this particular recording is being launched into the digital realm. It was my last JGB show.....

Thanks go to Todd and Jamie for the tireless work in front of the ever-evolving GEMS Station. Keep up the good work.......please...

not sure what all the
business is in the checksum box, pasted right from the text file. they are fine in the description.

anyhoo..enjoy!

yes it was a tad bit nippy in milwaukee this evening
& security was pretty lax as was the mecca in april 89 right across the street from bradley center.
i sat at the end of the floor behind board for this show, the sound was amazing just as the chicago show.
looking forward to hearing this .
thanks

Thanks for posting this JGB 1991 show. Does anyone have the JGB shows from these dates to please post too?

JGB 11-22-91 Rosemont Horizon

The
is an HTML instruction known as Line Break. I don't know why it shows up on some listings and not others. I use Trader's Little Helper to generate my checksums and when I copy, then paste the data into the checksum box, the
always shows up after the upload is processed. It really means nothing and doesn't reflect on the checksum data integrity.

The back to back Jerry shows, Rosemont/Bradley were probably the best shows I ever saw, incl. Dead shows. I remember saying to my buddy I was with.... "Is it me or does Jerry seem to expound more passion and energy w/ this band". I'm a BIG Brent guy, but I always thought, Melvin would of been an ideal replacement instead of Vince. I'd of taken a "gospel" organ crushing touch to Samba in the Rain any day of the week. Melvin was just downright SICK at these shows. I dont exactly remember, but they didn't do "Dont let go" at either shows? That was about the only thing missing from those two gems of shows. Thanks for the WONDERFUL posting.

This was a great run of shows and should be officially released if the "Pure Jerry" series ever gets going again. Thanks for this one.

Thanks!

I'm going to prematurely post this...going on pure memory... This was also my last JGB show. A fellow midwesterner (and 21 at the time ) I recall wanting a little more...by the time we got to Lucky Old Sun Jerry was gassed. Oh Well, You win some you lose some. Of course, I was lucky enough to see the Alpine and Poplar Creek shows of '89 so....
