I decided to head east over to Warren to see these guys from back home in the ATL. I think Benji and Tony were taken by surprise to see me up in this neck of the woods! I had a great time seeing and recording these guys. I had some cds for Benji. At set break, i told him if I had power, I could bring my laptop and hard drive in and burn ther Black Crowes from last week. Benji did not hesitate to share his 4-way plug he had on stage. I grabbed all the necessities, started my rig, and began making cds sitting on stage 10 feet from Benji. I was able to grab a wireless signal, so I finished upping my Del McCoury show at the same time!
Definitely a first for me. The boys played 2 solid sets of Band/Dylan nuggets. Mark treated us to an original he wrote for his Grandparents, who were from Ohio. A very nice evening of music, in a beautiful little amphitheatre! There had to be at least 2,000 folks in the house grooving to the tunage. I recommend seeing these guys!!!

Hello warren....grew up there and grad from old Warren G many moons ago....the site of the show was not there when I lived there......nice to see something going on in ol` WO....
