| Thanks for this. I was wondering where all the Phil went. I'm also wondering where the summer went. By the by: Is any one who uses UTorrent having problems with the new 1.8? I've tried to use it several times. I am finding capped UL/DL regardless of how I configure it. My upload is as important to me as my download and I really do'nt want a client with a built in "Speed Cop." Or a buggy new version. I've read a few comments from other users and they seem to agree that until whatever it is gets worked out, they ai'nt using it either. So, I went back to the 1.7.7 and alls good again. Google "Utorrent 1.8 Sucks" and see what they're saying. Sorry to blather, but I spent a lot of yesterday trying to configure the damn thing with out any success. The 1st sunny day in weeks here in the Northeast and I'm stuck inside farting around with a computer.(It's been like the second age of Ragnaroc around here all summer.) Screw it until it's right. Thanks again for the Phillage. Cheers. |

| I am having no problems with the new uTorrent. I am able to seed at the full speed capacity of my network connection. |

I don't see any actual complaints about uTorrent 1.8 when I google as you suggest.
I never try to cap my upload speeds at less than 4kB/sec, so I don't see that anti-leacher feature kick in.
I have a well-configured antivirus program, so I don't have problems there.
People like to complain about uTorrent, so I've learned to take all they say with a grain of salt.... |

| I love utorrent, myself. I'm not real good at the configuring thing, but it all seems hunki-dori. Its probably Comcast or some shit like that. I think its time we all strolled down there and did some throttling of our own.Its like when Bill Hicks responded to Jesse Helms comment about how we were all going to have to "tighten our belts and pay all this deficit back". "Yeah", responded Bill. "I'd feel better about tightening my belt if I could tighten it around Jesse Helms scrawny neck."(Rant in E Minor 1994) RIP, Bill. I miss you like crazy. |
