Thanks for the quick up. I'll grab this later today.
I was also there last night and I thought the sound was great for both Eric Hutchinson and John Butler Trio, but what happened for G. Love's set? His vocals were horrible IMO...totally echoey and not even close to being as sharp and crisp as they were for the two artists I mentioned performing before him (you could barely understand a word G. Love sang).
John Butler Trio was great and put on a solid show.

It's Ocean. He plays it every show. Every time its a little different and a little better.
If I understand correctly, its the song he played on the corner in west Australia. And the song he sold 5,000 bootlegs of it, making him popular enough to make it to you and me.

holy smokes, you're right.
Ocean does get better every time. I had the opportunity to see 3 shows volunteering for Rock the Earth (dot org) in the PNW.
the Bend, Oregon version was completely off the hook and on higher levels. unfortunately I didn't see any tapers. |
