I HAVE BEEN GIVING ALOT OF TIME TO LISTENING TO SOME OF THESE SHOWS AND I MUST SAY THAT THE SOUND QUAILTY ON ALMOST ALL THESE SHOWS IS JUST PURE SICKNESS, SERIOUSLY CHALIE MILLER THESE SHOWS ARE SIMPLY AMAZING, YOUR THE MAN, I REALLY CANT BELIEVE HOW GOOD ALL OF THESE ARE, I HOPE EVERYONE IS ENJOYING THIS AS MUCH AS MYSELF !
I WAS CONTACTED BY SOMEONE OVER AT LOSSLESS LEGS AND HE HAS A GRATE INTERNET CONNECTION, HE WAS ABLE TO UPLOAD ON THE_BUS TORRENT/SEED OF 1973 155GB WITHING 24 HOURS !!!! NOW HE ASKED ME IF I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE HIM SEED WHAT I HAVE, SO I GOT THE IDEA OF THIS, SINCE EVERYONE ALWAYS STARTS AT 1965 AND WORKS THERE WAY UP TO 1995 TO SEED ALL OF THE SHOWS THEY HAVE, I WAS THINKING OF DOING SOMETHING THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE HERE,
I WANT TO SEED 1 COMPLETE YEAR WITH EVERY SOURCE THAT I HAVE IN 1 TORRENT
1 TORRENT + EVERY SHOW FOR THAT YEAR

| deadicated fellow - i like the 15 GB sections like THE BUS does - it seems like the portions are just right for grabbin' & seedin' 'bout .75 - 1 back to the community w/out losin' the chance to also jump on other thinz that r happenin' out there - +, 1 giant torrent just seems like it might clog the server if i'm not mistaken in the little i've learned by watchin' & listenin' - but i guess i'm @ the mercy of u almighty 1 - hahahahaha - yes - thanx to u & mr miller & all who helped this music come back 'round |

u know - i thought of somethin' even better actually that would be my dream for gettin' this stuff - startin' from either 65 or 95, work your way forwards 2 shows at a time of 12 hr intervals 2 times a day @ a specific time u feel is convenient for you - this will guarantee opportunity for every1 @ all speeds & hard drive sizes to be able to download & always know when to look for the new seeds & always give somethin' new to look forward to - u should give it a name too - like Completely Deadicated Project or somethin' to mark the seeds off - i really think this would be cool from so many angles & i think more & more people would get the opportunity to retrieve new thinz from ure stash & then have them available if people start askin' for old stuff or new stuff as u put it out - i thought The Bus way would be cool but I like this idea better the more I think 'bout it - plus i've run it by some other friends of mine in the past few months when this idea came up in conversation who would jump on as soon as u started - oh well - i put it out there - thanx as alwayz
P.S. I don't really see the Super Torrent workin' for a lot of people which, in turn, makes the community on ure ride smaller |

| Its a capital idea, but I personally couldnt ask so much of my hard drive. Its only 140gbs and I couldnt stay on that long to help seed. I need to shut my PC off once in a while to let it cool off and it takes so damn long to dl these giant torrents. Thats why I dont partake in the Buses shares(no offense intended. Bless you for your efforts.) I could break it down by show or shows with my bt client, but I think after a while, I'd lose my place. Plus, it would be kind of a strain on the site itself, wouldnt it? Theres also the other shows being uploaded as well to consider that are non GD related, and I dont know what a massive upload like that would do to this sites bandwidth where those shows are concerned. Theres more to this site than the GD. Plus, I wouldnt be able to comment as much and get to know the others on a given torrent. I dunno. I wonder if it would be better suited for Workingmans Tracker or LL itself? God knows Workingmans seems to need something to do. Or, perhaps a link to someones private tracker who has the BW to support that kind of thing. Last year, wasnt there an uploader named 'Terrapin' that became a bit disillusioned for a variety of reasons(including our seeding behaviour) and started his own site for his massive uploads? I think 'The Bus' took over in his stead. I appreciate the zeal, hombrero, but I guess I would cast my vote to keep things the way they are. Cheers. |
