Would really like feedback. This is my first taping with decent gear and this set-up. Tips are greatly appreciated.
Taping done from front of shirt approx. 6 inches below neck. Person in front of me was quiet and sat most the show. I was sitting 99% of the show. |

Thanks, luckily the guy in front of me was short and sat down most the time so the height thing was not too bad. I really could not think of a way to get them higher with out being obvious (was not sure that they were allowing taping)
Will work on that in the future |

Great show last night, just got back to Portland. I know there's a SP-CMC4 source my friend pulled from the floor which will hopefully be up soon. My daughter took about 150 pics which I'll try to get posted soon. And as far as mic placement, yes, get them up!!! I've had problems w/ phasing when the mics are shoulder height & people walk in front of you. I have a couple different ways, if you want some tips you can e-mail me @ ifixedmybus@hotmail.com.

There was some interest in a matrix (combining all 3 sources) being made from this show as it would combine all the great sources and make an even more rounded souding recording. Before he gets started on that I wanted to get permission and a thumbs up from the tapers involved in case there were any objections. If there are please let me or them know.

I am fine if someone wants to do a mix, heck, I have time after Monday to do one. Who ever does it, if you use my source please note that there might be sync issues. See the thread below for help. I have done it before and it not too tough.

The levels are real low on this, but I am NOT COMPLAINING by any means! Thank you very, very much for taping and sharing this!!!
