I've always doubted that this was actually a DSBD source, but that was how the DAT was labeled.

Yah, I used your old DA-20 to transfer this, and that unit is still in my stack. Now that you say it I seem to remember a lack of stereo imaging on the source DATs you sent me. I used to have a Soundforge screenshot from this transfer that showed one channel as having more amplitude than the other. |

this show is tight...last time i listened to it i noticed all sorts of extra "embellishments" added too all the songs. When the venue inspired the band to take the music above and beyond by adding all sorts of cool things to listen for.

Definitely a unique mix- I'm listening to it right now on Ultrasone headphones and there's much more presence in the left. The most interesting thing, though, is that Trey's guitar is weak in the mix, whereas it's usually predominant. Fish and Mike fans ought to enjoy this one.
Decent performance, though--thanks for sharing this! |
